High School Kids On A Saturday Night

So we play the old-fashioned game. It's a cliché and I like it.
In case you're wondering what that nip-slip of a photo is behind the card:

Another Inner-G Bonding

No brothers today; only a brother and a sister. With Ate J and Miguel again, plus Kathy, who I fondly call atsie (Chinese for big sister). Because we were so unlucky seven days ago, I think life is giving back! I believe we found our team building venue in Laguna! Only we're not so sure yet which of the two we'll pick.

Again, they shall remain unnamed. Both were really nice places: facilities, accommodation, the like. Laguna Venue#1 was just that, but Laguna Venue#2 was so much more! Photos!
Laguna Venue#2 is very nice, I tell you. It's beyond nice! But I doubt a measly student could afford it for a team building seminar. Either way, here, photos!
So. Which one? :)

Bond With Brothers

The Green Media Groups holds its team-building activity every first term break of the academic year, which usually falls on the first week of September. As an integral part of the organization, I am expected to spearhead the activity. So I went to Batangas for an ocular with our office's secretary, Ate J, GMG's second in command, AJ, and our brothers from the same father, Miguel and Dave from De La Salle Innersoul. For security purposes, I will not reveal the names of the places we visited. Besides, I might say offensive things, not that I mean it. :)

LTTS Venue #1: If our goal was to get away from city life and just unwind, then V#1 would be perfect with its hotel rooms, kiddie wave pool, and adult ample-sized pool. The function rooms and open grounds weren't convincing at all.
LTTS Venue#2: One word to describe V#2 is PERFECT. Everything about it was perfect but the size! It was too small for three CAO groups to share. It's still not enough even for GMG.
This is the nearest swimming pool shot I could get cos there were people swimming. Weird naman if I suddenly take a photo. Haha, they might think I'm a paparazzi. :))
Today's quest wasn't very lucky for us. :(
With my brothers! :)

Lucky Me!

Luck was on my side today. Last night, one of my best friends, Yanee, asked if I had anything planned for today. In fact, I did; I was supposed to do org stuff (yes, on a summer vacation day) in the afternoon, but I thought, "Hmm, lunch with one of the Chicas (IMY, Chicas) won't hurt."

So I did squeeze in that lunch date before heading to school. Turns out, I didn't have "squeeze in" anything at all because my engagements were postponed to next week! (Oh dear, that means next week will be busier than expected and planned. But, hakuna matata!)

Awesome bonding day with Yanee! Starbucks Coffee and endless chat plus yow-know-what-I-mean-smug-smug.
But, you wanna know the best part? We're both in a bad state of financial crisis. HAHA. We're peasants. Thanks to the coupons that came with my Starbucks 2010 Planner, we were able to get a great deal. It's a steal, I tell you!
Above: one venti white mocha frappe (P160), one venti mocha frappe (P150), two servings of cinnamon swirl [?] (P55 each)! All that for a grand total of... P270! Haha! We got the first venti at regular price and the one of less or equal value is on the house! In all, we spent so little, even less than a tall-sized frappe! Haha! :)
See? See? Awesome. Haha. Oops, the receipt looks battered and gross. Hahaha. Pardon our excitement. Haha!
And this is our after-birit look. Ngarag much? Hahaha. We spent P108 for 9 songs on the karaoke! Whooo, Aegis songs never fail. Total Eclipse of the Heart is another favorite. La la la. And theeen, we went window shopping for a while. Looking for the best bikini top. By best, I mean cheap (like really cheap, cos I'm a cheapskate like that haha) and okay-enough. I'm no beach bum anyway, so a P200+ bikini top (that's violet!) is A-OK. :) I have photos, but I'd rather not... Hahaha. Next time when I have a smaller tummy. Mwahaha!
